Shleppers Supports March for Babies

Top New York moving company Shleppers Moving & Storage is proud to announce its recent donation of time, trucks and support to the March of Dimes March for Babies® Charity Walk at Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains, New York, from April 24 through the main Walk event on April 26, 2009.

The premier fundraising event from the March of Dimes, March for Babies® benefits all babies -- those born healthy as well as those who need help to survive and thrive. This year, for the Walk event in White Plains, Shleppers donated a variety of services in support of the worthy cause from beginning to end. On April 24 and 25, Shleppers' expert movers loaded trucks for the charity, unloaded tables and chairs for the event, set up tents, and helped to hang signage and banners around the event vicinity. On April 26, for the Walk event itself, Shleppers personnel assisted by handing out water and stacking trucks, and set up a Shleppers tent from which they also gave away Frisbees, T-Shirts, umbrellas, and more. The Westchester March for Babies Walk event was a huge success, attracting more than 4,500 walkers, sponsors and volunteers, and raising over $750,000.
